Last year we marked the 20 year anniversary of Intersection of Change as a nonprofit fighting poverty related challenges in our west Baltimore communities of Sandtown-Winchester, Upton and the surrounding community.

We set a goal the ongoing goals below and ask for your continued support as we continue our work to achieve this through our Martha’s Place, Jubilee Arts, and Strength to Love II programs.

Champion Freedom:

Offering addiction care and treatment to another 150 women
Engaging over 100 teens in our Youth in Business class to become entrepreneurs

Cultivate Beauty:

Creating 10 new community murals
Employ 200 community members and Baltimore artists in our community development

Foster Creativity:

Provide art classes and community art projects to 10,000 youth and adults
Offer opportunity for artistic expression, income, and a path to career opportunities in the arts

Implement Growth:

Employ 15 citizens returning from incarceration to operate the 96,000 sq./ft. farm
Create a support network for returning citizens to grow and reintegrate into the community
