This Program Director position entails operation of Jubilee Arts, a comprehensive art program that uses art as a catalyst for social change, as a tool for empowerment, and as a tool to learn our history and change our future in Baltimore. Jubilee Arts provides over 15 art classes (in ceramics, visual arts, dance, and business) four days a week with four annual semester sessions as well as cultural activities to both children and adults and serves over 2,500 people annually. Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Leadership – Sets the yearly goals and vision for the JA team.
- Stakeholder Cultivation – Establishes a strategy to attract, engage, recruit, and cultivate program stakeholders.
- Data Management – Develop the process for capturing and tracking essential data to describe the impact of program offerings.
- Program design – Regularly assess program offerings to determine if they add value to our participants and the program as a whole.
- Fundraising – Work with the IOC Senior Leadership team to develop the organizational strategy for raising monetary support.
- Technology – Assess the various needs for technology amongst our Jubilee internal and external community to see who has adequate equipment to participate in our various initiatives.
- Management – Direct and manage work of employees to meet programmatic goals and outcomes; utilize creative problem solving to address challenges
